Donald Trump ran unopposed and topped out at 75% in one state. Yep, that’s a good sign.

  1. LOL! Maths is hard. People also seem to be forgetting that whoever the Republican candidate is, they must flip nearly a dozen states that voted for Obama, twice. R’s are already down a 100 electoral votes before they even get out of the gate. It can be done, but the hyperbole about how easy it’s going to be is way over the top.

    • Pat Buchanan ran on a similar platform in 1992 of keeping illegals out and bringing back American factory jobs. Back then, the average American was more likely to be White and work in a manufacturing plant. America has changed a lot demographically. The middle aged American works with a computer. In states like California and New York, they know more Hispanic people.

Trump hasn’t even begun to be smeared in the press. He got tripped up on abortion by Tingles on MSNBC. Democrats can run ads exactly like the Romney ones where Trump employees lost their jobs due to his bankruptcies. Even a standard liberal attack campaign can do significant damage.
