Days of Change

Too Lazy to Watch | November 10, 2015

I only get Fox Business in one room (more than some people) so I was lazy and looked at Twitter for analysis. From what I can tell, Rand Paul was the most combative and therefore “won” the debate. Either that or his fans on social media are especially rabid. In either case, Paul needs to stand out. The “under card” debates are becoming a looming danger. In fact, not getting into the debates at all is now a reality. Carly had her moment and is now close to under card status. Christie lost his place on the main state. Trump and Carson are well-positioned. Rubio and Jeb are hanging on. I don’t even know how Kasich is still there.

Right now, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are fighting for the Tea Party slot that was kept warm for Sarah Palin back in 2012. At some point, one of them is going to make the other one unviable. The campaign doesn’t get expensive for another 2 months, so we’ll have some big debates to come yet.

  1. I may be burned out by the time the real thing rolls around. Would any of these boys have the cajones to tell Clinton on national TV that she’s a liar? Trump, possibly; Carson, no.
