Days of Change

Bibi Gun | March 17, 2015

Despite electioneering in a foreign election by the Obama administration, (currently under investigation) Benjamin Netanyahu’s party has enough seats and a like-minded coalition to be Prime Minister of Israel.

The White House’s attempt to overthrow a politician is not new. In America, growing executive power and a non-parliamentary system has led to a new Democratic Party strategy where the House and Senate aren’t nearly as important as a president who ignores that Congress then does what he wants. The Republicans can’t pass legislation on their own at their current numbers. Their only power is subtraction. They can refuse to allocate money. Instead of using this, they are bullied into not doing it.

Netanyahu is not afraid. Did he use security to win the election? Maybe, but the Obama administration attempted shady means to hand the election to Bibi’s opponent. Frankly, Israel needs to worry about security when the American president is so hostile to Israel.

When are the Republicans going to show similar balls?

Excellent post, 15, re: obama’s tyrannical takeover. If I’m right about him refusing leave the WH after 2016, “takeover” becomes “overthrow.”
