Poll Position | June 18, 2014

MSNBC had the unhappy news of announcing that Obama’s poll numbers are now lower than Bush’s after Hurricane Katrina. In Bush’s case, he was blamed for not being able to mobilize the federal government in an emergency situation when the state is supposed to take care of such things. For Obama, his lackadaisical presidency over nearly six years created the emergencies.

The lack of voter confidence, his failed plans and inability to make the economy better are all leading to a pretty decent Republican win in 2014. Unfortunately, the GOP in Washington still do not seem to understand that this White House does not play by any political rules. Eventually passing a budget least year meant that Obama won and he now knows, like the terrorists he set free, that his enemy has a line they will not cross.

In fact, the Republicans will only put up a fight if they get a majority in the Senate. This is a bad idea, because Democrats see how bad the House races are and will sacrifice the few moderates they have left to pour all their money into a Senate race fire wall. If the House broke the president by bankrupting him, their jobs would be under an all out financial assault. It seems to have worked out for them that they aren’t a threat.

  1. What a mess! I wonder when Obama’s poll numbers and our unemployment numbers are going to intersect?

  2. The Repubs wll grab defeat out of the jaws of victory. Suicidal, scared to death of the liberal media–they don’t kow who they are any more.
