Days of Change

Day 1267 – Make Mine Newt | April 24, 2012

Technically, I had four people to choose from in today’s ballot. There was Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. Santorum is actually out of the race, so there’s not much point voting for him. I am completely tired of Ron Paul’s anti-Israel crap and his general pointlessness. I support a Mitt Romney candidacy because of the hell fire his campaign will release on the Democrats.

I still chose Newt Gingrich. I want Romney to understand that he has the chance to be a decent president and a fiscal conservative. I just don’t want to cut him a blank check yet. I also think Gingrich has done a lot to help Romney and his presence has been a net positive for the campaign. Here’s to you, Newt. You won my vote.

  1. It’s a disgrace for the wlectorate that because he looks older and chunkier than obama, Newt—the smartest of the Repubs—wouldn’t win. But I’ll maerk my ballot the same as you comes our primary.

Agree 200% about that freaking Ron Paul.

  2. And now we learn that with his dropping out, I won’t have the Newt option. Since it isn’t the generl eection and won’t be a de facto vote for obama, I think I’ll write in Sarah Palin.

  3. Newt and Santorum may still be on the ballot.

I was annoyed that crazy Martian Ron Paul got 17% in New York to Newt’s 14%.

  4. Paul is crazy as a tick. If, as you and our friend Somebody said weeks back, he’s in this for his son, yon Rand is in big trouble.

New Yorkers picked Paul over Newt? Something ain’t right.
