Days of Change

Day 1210 – All the Marbles | February 27, 2012

Once again, Republican primary voters are faced with what is supposedly the contest to end all 2012 presidential contests. The irony is that tomorrow is in more flux than ever. Romney will likely take Arizona, but Michigan is looking like a toss-up between Mitt and Rick Santorum.  So, does Rick get the momentum if he wins Michigan?

Not exactly, because Newt Gingrich is poised to do well on Super Tuesday. We have likely winner Mitt Romney, deadender Ron Paul, and two 1990s era conservatives. Right now, I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the ride because any of them can beat Obama.

  1. any of them can beat Obama

In my RNC e-mail yesterday: an AP poll showing the inevitability of obama’s re-election was cooked by polling (20%?) more Dems than Repubs.

I repeat: many of the polls are fixed.

  2. They always have been Mary, after all perception is reality.

Internal polls paid for and conducted by the campaigns tend to be far more accurate. Watch a candidate, watch their actions, listen to what issues they’re highlighting and who that appeals to. That will tell you what their internals are telling them……unless they’re bat shit crazy……I’ve worked with a few of those in my day sadly!!!
